ORCA RACING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

We have an opening for an individual in the development of Orca racing and Bullet class boats.

The candidate, will come from a marine background amateur of professional, salary will be commensurate with experience, ability and will relate to general performance and the success of our race division.
A high level percentage of profit share is on offer.
The candidate will be innovative, in terms of design, build, team management, crew selection, administration, sponsorship and race logistics. This is a “grass roots” position to some degree, initially assistance will be provided by the existing team. Part of the remit is to reach a level of turnover, facilitating the recruitment of additional team members, to become part of orca racing.

The work load in the initial stages will be considerable, we require an all-rounder especially during the build of the four boats, which will be “hands on”. As Atlantic racing is the nature of our business, travel for open periods of time will be part of the successful candidates lifestyle. Salary could be generous, dependant on performance, as will holiday allowance, in respect of the workload and seasonality of Atlantic racing December-March , we offer three months (12 weeks) of annual leave.

The first project will be the building of the Bullet prototype aiming for a Transatlantic world speed record.
